I almost named today's post "Festiva in the Parking Lot"! It may seem odd but on only the second day of our road trip we left the car parked. We are staying with one of our older children, Jordan, in the west end of Vancouver only a short walk from Stanley Park.
Our day started with a water taxi ride over to Granville Island. Strolled around for a couple of hours, picked up some fruit and fresh bagels for our lunch then heading back to Jordan's. After lunch we headed to Coal Harbour to have a look at the Olympic torch. From there it was over to Stanley Park and the Vancouver Aquarium.
The weather has been great for walking and the rain has held off all day.

Almost looks like Lego. Perhaps E will be inspired to bigger things :) |

We are looking forward to the next leg of our journey as we head down into Washington state to visit Mount St. Helen's.
